H/T: Herbert Sobel:
A C-141A Starlifter had been delayed for takeoff for over an hour at Thule Air Force Base, Greenland, because its sewage container had not been pumped out. An Airman meandered up to the aircraft with the containment pump, fiddled around for a while, then got ready to leave.
The young Captain who was the aircraft commander confronted the Airman, and stated, “You have caused me to be two hours late for my takeoff. I’ll see that you are not only reprimanded, but punished as well!”
The young Airman smiled and said, “Sir, with all due respect, I have no stripes, I’m stationed at Thule, Greenland, it’s 20 degrees below zero, and I’m pumping s*** out of an airplane. Just what kind of punishment did you have in mind?”
As Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn pointed out: once the authorities take everything away from a person, he is free all over again.

Hah! We make jokes that some people are un-sue-able (meaning they have no savings), but this guy takes it one step further. He’s un-punishable!

Good anecdote, will remember that one.
A couple of questions for you if I may.
Your a so-called anti-jihad site, but many of the items and all the recent ones are right-wing or Christian quotes – why?
Why is that the so-called anti-jihad resources all different accesses to on-line bibles?
Why is it that almost all the sources and quality that you produce are all from that same self-proclaimed anti-jihad circle of websites and authors?
If we were to look at your website based on the above and very obvious list, we could easily assume that:
A) Your unabashed far-right and thus one extremist claiming to be somehow the cure to other extremists (islamist) forgetting that the old idiom has yet to be proven wrong which is that two wrongs NEVER make a right.
B) Your pushing that Christianity is the cure to all man’s problems and that the best resource to prove your case is quoting the bible which in turn implies that your interpretation is the only one. Doing so puts you in the class as ‘radical’ which then also means by definition to push your case you are willing to condemn others by suggesting your own questionable answer as the only “truth”. I seem to remember that the vast majority of Christians on this plant and the four largest Christian denominations all do not folllow what you are saying.
C) As a radical to push your unacceptable radical agenda you must therefore push some lies to support your goal. Add to that all radicals then must continue with that lie and the best way to do that has been by abusing context, like what you do with the bible. The third element of any radical is in addition they are automatically assuming that the object of their propoganda and messages – the people or the followers, are stupid and cannot think for themselves and you must some how tell them what to do.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having an opinion, disageeing with someone, believing what you like even if fringe – it is when it turns to radicalism which means basically falsifying and abusing context and assuming that others are stupid.
Having strong faith and conviction also does not mean breaking one’s own self-respect and principles. The other well known lesson about radicalism is that they are “willing to alter their faith to to suit their political agenda and not the other way round”.

Blog admin 1389 replies: While you are entitled to your opinion, I observe that you are very hostile to Christianity in general and conservative Christianity in particular. I am an Orthodox Christian. I invite you to investigate that faith on your own. There are plenty of resources on the Internet. If you do, you will learn that there is absolutely NO moral equivalence between Islam, which is inherently aggressive and jihadist, and Orthodox Christianity, which makes no attempt to enforce its beliefs on anyone.
I must also point out that truth is not a matter of majority vote. Whether members of other branches of Christianity, or anyone for that matter, agrees with me on any point is no indication of whether or not I am correct.
THANK YOU for posting this! I love your blog!!

“Your a so-called anti-jihad site, but many of the items and all the recent ones are right-wing or Christian quotes – why?”
Because most anti-jihadists are right-wing. Duh!
So-called? Duh!
“Your”, “you’re”, Duh!
@Rancher,
Good to hear from you again!
Every so often, we get a comment whose author not only lacks literacy in the English language (or perhaps in any language), but also appears ignorant in many other respects as well. I blame it on the Gramscian “long march through the institutions,” particularly the system of government-funded “education” (actually indoctrination) that has taken hold in the Anglosphere and in Europe.
It is difficult to know where to begin in addressing such ignorance.
