Islam and its adherents remind me too much of Jim Jones and other cult leaders who taught their followers to kill themselves…Jones too, it turned out, hated Christians as does islam. It was reported that while preaching to his followers Jones took a Bible, through it on the ground and began to kick and step on it. Jones was no Christian.
The teaching of Jim Jones, Charles Manson, Heaven’s Gate (an American UFO cult based in San Diego, California) led by Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles, and of course Muhammad’ islam, are the products of mad men with a following…Humans do strange things…some how those people could convince others to willingly commit suicide. Unfortunately, Muhammad is the only one I know about that has influenced others to commit suicide long after his death. Too bad they just don’t simply kill themselves and leave the rest of us alone!
These people all witnessed to themselves. Our Lord taught us not to depend on the witness of a single individual; especially if they witness to themselves. It was others who reported the miracles of our Lord; and NOT our Lord who never witnessed to Himself as did the so called “prophet” of islam. Muhammed and his cult of hate and intolerance for others have nothing in common with Christianity.

It’s pretty sad that people get so caught up in superstitious BS that they are more than willing to riot and kill over a cartoon of some stupid guy who lived and died over 1,000 years ago. I’m sick to death of hearing about “people of religion” (whether Muslim, Sikh, or Christian) trying to control what the rest of us read, write, draw, think, see, do or say, and I’m especially sick of them demanding special dispensation for their superstitious idiocy. These people must be stopped in their tracks with a good firm slap on the muzzle, and not acquiesed to or given exemptions to laws and rules.

That's one interesting difference between faiths.

Islam compels it's adherents to defend the honor and pride of the founder of their faith, whereas Christianity doesn't.

Christians see Jesus as strong enough to care for his own reputation.

Personally I don't want to follow a leader who is so weak he needs me to defend him all the time.
