But as a US citizen, I insist that it is absolutely wrong for the US government, or for other governments under US influence, to make demands about how the Serbs should govern themselves. After all, CzechRebel and I used to live in Chicago, the city that has displaced ancient Babylon and Rome as the epitome of political corruption. It amazes us that anybody would consider the present-day US to be the standard for how the rest of the world should govern itself.
